Dr. Denning is a professor in the Department of Defense Analysis at the Naval Postgraduate School. She is one of the world's leading authorities on data security and cryptography, conflict in cyberspace, and terrorism. Her most recent book is Information Warfare and Security. Among numerous other distinctions, she has been President of the International Association for Cryptologic Research, and Chair of the National Research Council Forum on Rights and Responsibilities of Participants in Network Communities.
